Accountant

The Keller Group is seeking an Accountant for one of our clients located in North Scottsdale. The ideal candidate has a blend of accounting and tax experience and enjoys working with external customers. This position will give you a lot of exposure to many aspects of accounting - accounting, tax, and consulting.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Cash Management Services - Bill Payment, Cash Flow Management
• Accounting System Setup & Modification - eeCPA Best Practices
• Accounting System Design - Finding Apps/Solutions for Clients
• Financial Statement Preparation & Review - Compilations
• Sales Tax Compliance & Reporting
• Tax Estimation & Client Communications
• Client Services – Answering client questions and providing advice on opportunities for tax savings/business efficiency
• Tax Research and Documentation
• Complex Tax Return Preparation - 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, 1040

Qualifications of the Accountant:

• 2-3 years of previous accounting and tax experience
• Sense of urgency
• Critical thinker
• Genuine care of others – empathy & sense of responsibility
• Can-do attitude
• Strong listener; able to take notes and ask effective questions
