Accountant

Position Summary:

Our corporate finance and accounting team at Telios Corporation is looking to add a talented and ambitious Accountant eager to make a real impact to our company’s continued success. The Accountant will play an integral role in maintaining and supporting both our Telios Corporate and Telios Construction Management teams and is a proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Post and process accounts receivable and payable, perform reconciliations, and assist with the review of expenses
• Maintain documentation of accounting processes/procedures and related internal control framework
• Support other departments to reach organization goals and deadlines
• Ensures efficiency, proper internal controls, and compliance with GAAP
• Ad hoc projects to assist with other internal projects
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

Minimum Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields
• Less than 3 years of direct work experience with demonstrated strong knowledge of accounting practices and principles, including double-entry accounting
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a personal commitment to meeting deadlines
