Accountant

As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting team, reporting directly to the Controller. This position arises from the recent departure of our Assistant Controller, prompting a revamp of our team structure. You will collaborate closely with our CFO, Controller, AP team, GL accountants, credit/collections staff, and billing team to ensure accurate financial reporting and process improvements.

Job Title: Senior Accountant/Staff Accountant

Location: Fully on-site in-office

Compensation: $80,000 to $92,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Investigate historical financial records to identify and rectify errors and inconsistencies.
• Prepare full financial statements.
• Engage in full cycle financial statement creation.
• Utilize strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) for various accounting tasks.
• Drive process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high-degree confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in creating full cycle financial statements.
• Expertise in intercompany consolidations and eliminations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Prior experience in process improvement.
• Familiarity with construction and restoration industries.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
