LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized, efficient, and qualified Accountant to join our clients Finance Department. This role will oversee general accounting functions to support finance-related initiatives, projects, and directives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements
Reconcile balance sheet accounts accurately and on time
Participate in annual audits by preparing work papers and schedules
Keep schedules for fixed assets, depreciation, repairs, and maintenance
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintain general ledgers
Manage sales invoicing and related schedules
Uphold all accounting procedures and processes
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analyses
Manage accounting software
Ensure internal controls to safeguard assets
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
At least 8+ years of expereince
Experience with QuickBooks & proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Flexibility to adapt to changes in work responsibilities
Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability
Self-starter with strong analytical skills and a focus on process improvement
Ability to meet departmental deadlines effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
