The Account Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Client Relationship Leader to drive internal communications for a pharmaceutical client(s) pulling through interwoven programs which may include data milestones, disease awareness campaigns, digital and social campaigns, corporate communications milestones, advocacy relations and patient engagement. This person will have a deep understanding of client subject matter and ability to communicate effectively internally as well as with clients and other external partners. An ability to straddle both execution and management is critical to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Manages large projects timelines and deadlines; brings potential issues to VP
Effectively manage time and resources across projects
Support development of strategic communications materials and other deliverables (e.g., plans, corporate/product narratives, messages and Q&As, results reports)
Serve as a day-to-day client contact on specific projects and mobilize interwoven teams towards progress, action and results
Analyze research findings to distill key takeaways and formulate associated communications recommendations
Determine client event logistics, develop show flow, create internal promotional materials, ensure progress against event deadlines
Facilitate team alignment through dialogue, summarizing information, ideas; ensure next steps are captured and shared with team
Support interwoven projects, owning deliverable workstreams, from inception through completion
Oversee development of internal communication materials and review content to ensure alignment with account goals, client preferences
Anticipate client needs for projects they own and proactively manage relationships
Meet deadlines and adhere to team norms and effectively communicate to team members and supervisors
Supervise junior staff and play an active role in their professional development; work with senior leadership to manage performance growth
Provide direction on new business research and work with team to uncover insights
Review materials for consistency, accuracy and proper use of grammar and work with team to correct errors as found
Support the team to ensure high-quality service and execution
Lead portions of client calls and in-person meetings
Develop tactical slides for annual communications plans
Develop strategic programs that meet client objectives by working with interwoven team
Maintain budget for clients and communicate updates, as needed
Participate in agency activities and professional development opportunities
Demonstrate and nurture agency values and principles
Be a steward for Spectrum through leadership of agency committees, events, and meetings, as well as sharing of key learnings
Desired Skills and Qualifications
Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in communications, English or similar major
Has at least 4-6 years of agency experience, including experience in healthcare and internal communications
Possesses advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.), SharePoint and e-mail Service Platforms
Deep understanding of client subject matter, industry landscape
Ability to manage projects simultaneously
Focuses on extreme attention to detail
Exhibits a professional demeanor
Ability to excel in a team environment as well as work independently
Demonstrates resourcefulness, independent thinking, and effective problem solving
Showcases excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $85K-$115K. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
