Job Title: Senior Account Manager - Boutique Beauty PR Agency

*working remotely but MUST be located in the Tri-state area, with flexibility to travel to NYC 2-3x per month.*

Job Description:

Our client, a boutique beauty PR agency, is seeking a dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our boutique beauty PR agency. In this role, you will work closely with the Director, VP, or President to manage all client-related tasks and responsibilities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for designated clients, overseeing day-to-day communication and ensuring the successful execution of PR strategies and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the client lead and primary contact for designated clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Assist junior staff members and senior management in delegating client and program responsibilities, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Utilize a strong roster of high-level media contacts within the beauty or fashion/lifestyle industry to secure media coverage and partnerships for clients.
• Develop creative and strategic PR strategies and proposals tailored to meet client objectives and industry trends.
• Lead the planning and execution of small and large-scale events, including media launch events, sponsorships, and digital programs.
• Oversee client benchmarks and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring the successful delivery of press needs.
• Review completed projects with a critical and strategic lens, ensuring they align with client goals and exceed expectations.
• Pitch clients to relevant media outlets and influencers, maintaining top-of-mind awareness within print, broadcast, and online platforms.
• Manage corporate communications initiatives, including profile pitching and press release dissemination.
• Cultivate and manage influencer relationships, negotiating contracts and delivering comprehensive reporting on partnerships.
• Coordinate client mailings, including recipient lists, gift sourcing, and budget management.
• Monitor and manage client budgets, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of expenses.
• Support new business pitches by contributing to proposal creation and scope of work development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant agency experience in beauty or fashion/lifestyle PR.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in pitching and writing.
• Extensive press, industry, and vendor contacts within the beauty or fashion/lifestyle sector.
• Proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with industry applications such as Cision, Meltwater, and MuckRack.
• Experience with social media tracking platforms such as TRIBE Dynamics is a plus.
