Account Manager, Workplace Giving

Summary: As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role serves as the stewardship and account execution manager for all national, territory and region workplace giving partnerships; this critical role will also ensure increase revenue year over year based on customer centric success. Serves as the liaison across operations, marketing, communications, legal and finance for all workplace giving efforts.

Duties And Responsibilities

Fundraising & Relationship Building

  • Drive high-impact company workplace engagement to achieve overall revenue goals.
  • Provide input for execution of the strategic plan for the workplace giving revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with local relationship team and national shared service partners throughout LLS.

Account Management: 

  • Support customized internal/external reporting, metrics, collateral, prospect lists, pipelines, etc.  
  • Manage existing Workplace Giving donors to ensure matching gift dollars are completed.   
  • Serve as the lead for third party platform portals, including creation of volunteer opportunities, and campaign related workplace giving projects.
  • Qualify and vet Workplace Giving leads from the field and local teams for prospect pipeline development.
  • Serves as the liaison for third party portal verification within internal teams.

Strategy and Vision 

  • Provide strategic support for matching gifts, payroll deduction, and corporate community grants contributing to 7 figure increase in workplace giving revenue growth. 
  • Provide strategic support for volunteer grants “Dollar for Doer” programs; work with Volunteer Engagement Team to create mission centric volunteer opportunities for corporate employees to participate in.  
  • Effectively manage Workplace Giving third party platforms - communication plans and timelines for activation and stewardship.
  • Provide timely communication to Campaign and Regional Leadership teams on monthly workplace giving return on investment (ROI).
  • Serve as liaison for internal operational teams to ensure execution for donor support services are delivered on time. 

Stewardship 

  • Cultivate strong working relationships with national, territory, and regional leadership teams to ensure the successful integration and implementation of Workplace Giving strategies. 
  • Identify and lead stewardship plans for Workplace Giving partners, alongside, the Workplace Giving team members. 

 Leadership Acknowledgements  

  • Facilitates high-touch opportunities for LLS leadership to thank top donors in the form of phone calls, handwritten notes, or in person stewardship meetings. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 Years corporate fundraising experience
  • Experience in employee-based fundraising and success in fundraising from corporate sector
  • Strong office Suite and database management, preferred knowledge of Salesforce

Position Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize and flex between working independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including verbal and written. 
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed. 
  • Demonstrate account management experience. 
  • Use and continually develop account management skills. 
  • Average salary range is $56,000-$81,000, open to further discussion based on geography.

  • Limited travel approximately 25%
