Are you adept at staying informed about market trends and consumer preferences to inform your sales strategies in the premium spirits industry?


MacGregor Black are partnering with a Premium Beverage producer on the search for a Account Manager. This is a perm role based in New York.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximise market penetration.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the luxury on-trade segment in New York State.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and other premium establishments, to drive brand visibility and sales.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the product, including its history, production process, and unique flavour profile, to effectively communicate its value proposition to customers.
  • Conduct training sessions and tastings for staff at partner establishments to enhance product knowledge and ensure a premium customer experience.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Coordinate and participate in events, tastings, and promotional activities to raise brand awareness and drive sales.


What We're Looking For?


  • Must possess direct experience in working for a Spirits or Wine producer / distributor.
  • Proven track record in sales within the luxury on & off trade sector.
  • Strong network of contacts within the New York hospitality scene and the broader on-trade market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Passion for premium spirits and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.


Salary – Up to $65k + Commission Bonus.
