Dealers United Account Managers are organized, they can multitask and they are strong communicators with a passion for learning new & innovative strategies to increase client success. Our top Client Leads/Account Managers are experienced in managing client relationships and are excellent listeners and collaborators that can understand a challenge & provide recommendations to solve that challenge. You will work closely with our Dealer Partners to understand their KPI’s and help them accomplish their sales and service business objectives. You will report to the VP of Customer Experience and work cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing and Media Teams to create and aid in revenue retention and growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Be the primary point of contact for a book of Dealers United’s Key Accounts: You are managing all aspects of client relationship, support, execution and communication.
  2. Have strong knowledge of the automotive industry across OEM’s and dealerships: be aware of your clients’ competitive landscape and deliver solutions to help drive your clients various profit centers.
  3. Be a partner to your book of business: when a problem or question arises, you are their first call. You bring strategies and new tactics to every interaction with your clients.
  4. Manage the overall digital marketing strategy for Key Accounts including coordination of all internal stakeholders around insights, deck review and ongoing reporting for social media ads, Google Ads and SEO.
  5. Lead and manage all communication with clients - kick off call, monthly meetings, follow up action items - to review their business objectives and establish a recurring cadence of communication.
  6. Work closely and collaborate with the Dealers United Sales, Marketing, Media Team to deliver monthly actionable insights to each client in your book of business.
  7. Establish a baseline of key performance metrics with each client and deliver consistent updates to the client on performance vs those metrics
  8. Coordinate with the Media Team to deliver monthly sales and performance reports.
  9. Establish strong, long-term client relationships and increase company-wide retention of your book of business.
  10. Identify key growth and upsell opportunities within accounts to help build and increase our Customers’ Lifetime Value.
  11. Ensure internal and delegated tasks are being delivered accurately and on-time and as expected by client.
  12. Where appropriate and in coordination with management, visit your clients at their location to learn and understand how Dealers United can further help their business.


IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. 3-5 years experience managing a book of clients in digital marketing/sales/agency setting
  2. 1-3 years automotive experience (dealership, agency, OEM) (preferred)
  3. Bachelor's Degree required (Business/Marketing/Operations degree preferred)
  4. Strong aptitude and understanding of digital advertising solutions and strategies including: Google Ads, SEO, Google Analytics and social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest)
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a track record for building strong client relationships with clients
  6. Strong presentation skills with the ability to uncover actionable insights to help grow your clients’ business
  7. Proven Account Management and/or Project Management Experience with proven success managing multiple clients at a time
  8. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks during the day and still get everything done even as issues and problems arise.
  9. Superb organizational and task management skills
  10. Team Player: willing to collaborate with others and share your industry knowledge with the team
  11. Willingness to problem-solve, optimize processes and make decisions on your own
  12. Ability to quickly adapt to the ever changing world of digital marketing and advertising
  13. Ability to understand, produce, and communicate reports and metrics
  14. Goal-driven and self-motivated team player with a passion for learning
