Overall Responsibility
The Account Executive is responsible for partnering with the largest holding company account teams representing the largest advertisers across a large range of verticals. This entails engaging with the Account Directors at Agencies and Holding companies and their respective account teams to nurture and develop strong relationships.
Success in this position requires an ability to navigate the agency teams, develop a strong rapport with key decision makers in conjunction with local Buyer Development Sales Directors at Media.net. Additionally, a successful Account Executive will help project manage clients to specific revenue goals while understanding their future needs with a strong focus on building relationships through events and other marketing activities.
What your day looks like
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising agency account teams (both holding company agencies and independent agencies) that represent top global brands to ensure client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and develop tailored strategies that maximize the value of their inventory through our SSP technology.
- Advise on innovative revenue opportunities for sellers to enhance the value of their inventory and assist sales team in meeting revenue targets and activating new programmatic deals and PMPs
- Engage with account teams at advertising agencies and holding companies weekly by entertaining clients with lunch and learns, after-work social events, and event planning
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to proactively advise clients on best practices and innovative solutions.
- Maintain customer relationships and key information in Salesforce and help to share voice-of-the-customer to internal stakeholders.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related marketing field
- 2 to 4 years experience in media buying, programmatic advertising at a brand, agency, or holding company
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Proficiency in using Google Slides and PowerPoint with strong project management skills
- Driven and strong customer-facing skills to ensure positive customer experiences
Compensation and Benefits
Base Compensation Range: $70,000- $90,000
As required by law, the salary range stated above represents Media.net's reasonable estimate of the base salary associated with this position. The final salary offered may differ based on objective factors including experience, expertise, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, Media.net provides a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package in addition to the base salary.
