THE ROLE:

As an Account Executive at Marina Maher Communications, you are responsible for performing and executing day-to-day agency transactions and program elements. In this multifaceted role, you will support award-winning Corporate programs and diverse 360 campaigns – CR, media, social media, events, digital, creative.


Your excellent project management and planning skills, written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated understanding of best agency practices ensure seamless client delivery.


In the role, you will encounter all aspects of corporate communications including employee engagement, executive visibility, thought leadership, issues management and a variety of external communications initiatives. We are a nimble team where everyone is willing to roll up their sleeves and deliver for the client, while maintaining a laser focus on the broader strategy and key performance indicators.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Support the development of creative and strategic plans for servicing clients, growing existing client business, and ensuring that all program objectives are understood and executed
  • Draft client agendas and emails, call recaps, press materials, and pitch letters with minimal direction
  • Write error-free internal and external communications materials on a timely basis such as, client memos, reports, press materials, social media copy, etc.
  • Conduct media monitoring and report traditional and social media results
  • Support research and audits of media and stakeholder sentiment surrounding clients and competitors
  • Work with team to execute program activations such as conference events, media tours, etc.; collaborate with team to coordinate logistics
  • Effectively respond to client needs and requests at supervisor’s direction
  • Provide support to brand teams and develop and/or maintain systems (e.g. system/billing binders, activity reports) to ensure efficient management of the account
  • Continually seek to evolve knowledge of your specialty, client’s business and competitors, vertical industry, media landscape, and emerging trends in consumer behavior


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 1+ year of experience in communications or a related field
  • Proven success at the AAE level or equivalent desired, agency experience a plus
  • Knowledge of or passion for healthcare marketing and communications
  • Track record of showing strong initiative and good judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Bachelor’s in communications, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field

The anticipated salary range for this position is ($50,000-$70,000). Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
