Oscar de la Renta has an exciting job opportunity for an experienced Account Executive with proven, related global sales experience in RTW. Reporting to the Global Director of Sales, this role will be based in our midtown Manhattan corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Proactively and strategically manage RTW business from market sales through the customer at point-of-sale
Driving strong full-price sell-through for respective RTW accounts through analysis of retail sales, sell-through, best/slow sellers, re-orders to increase RTW revenue
Communicating with accounts on a regular basis to review business performance, set up clinics, product knowledge trainings, and work creatively to implement business-driving activations
Ability to synthesize data and analyze by style and by door selling to identify opportunities to drive business
Strategic planning to increase comp business for existing accounts and ability to prospect and expand distribution for respective territories
Develop and implement successful sales strategies to drive growth and maximize revenue
Partner closely and strategically with customer service representative for responsible accounts
Proactively drive business on the selling floor, travel and attend trunk shows and events, train sales team, control brand image, merchandise and analyze retail prices and trends for ODLR’s competition
Creating competitive fashion analyses and sharing findings with merchandising to improve offering and grow business
Aid team in market preparation and execution – scheduling and hosting market appointments, chasing orders, analyzing assortment, negotiating OTB with accounts to ensure sales plan is met
Required Skills and Experience:
4+ years of experience as an Account Executive, with expertise in Global RTW sales
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals to achieve optimal business results
Ability to prospect, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with buyers
Excellent selling, negotiating, and communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail
Competitive and motivated to surpass sales expectations
Strong, positive verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work
Frequent Travel is required
