Account Executive

We are a national consulting firm that focuses technology management, Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity and delivery services within the Private Equity and mid-market enterprise space (www.aittech.com)


We are seeking an Account Executive who will drive AIT’s revenue generation, new customer acquisition strategy and current account expansion. You will partner closely with the executive team and consulting/product delivery leaders on new business initiatives, growth strategies and new markets and opportunities. You understand and are successful in driving new business opportunities in this very hands-on, highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.


What you’ll do:

  • Generate sales and business development leads that align with all new customer go-to-market efforts
  • Work closely with the executive team and the Director of Sales to develop a comprehensive sales plan to build pipeline, close deals and to expand existing customer accounts and deployments
  • Develops sales plans, goals, strategies and objectives to achieve team goals and revenue objectives.
  • Deliver reports on your sales execution; proactively address any variances to plan
  • Work with existing channel partners to develop new business and craft and execute a business strategy that will allow for future channel expansions
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to support the growth and success of client partnerships
  • Identifies critical market segments through market research and competitor analysis


What you’ll have:

  • 2+ experience working in a hands-on Account Management, Sales Representative, Business Development or sales role with a proven track record of success in a high velocity environment.
  • Understanding of technology and software required
  • Experience selling in one of the following is preferred: software/technology, consulting, enterprise solutions or similar technical solutions, technical implementation, finance are preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in taking broad business needs and turning them into actionable, saleable solutions is required
  • Proven experience in developing senior-level executive relationships with channel partners and end-user customers.
  • Experience with sales strategy planning and execution, sales operations, marketing, channel and partner management, business planning, and sales support management in a distributed setting.
  • Salesforce experience required
  • Able to work independently and as a team player in coordinating and driving sales processes
  • Aggressive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and self-disciplined
  • Outstanding customer and partner facing communication skills
