Live events are back, and we are busier than ever!! We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic Events Account Director who will lead and manage major accounts and client relationships, as well as lead the teams of people who produce such events. The success of Nth Degree’s client relationships resides with the Account Director, who is responsible for client’s perception of our performance and retaining their willingness to work with Nth Degree in the future.
You will report directly to the President of Events. Job can be done remotely but must be willing to travel to events.
Salary starts in the $105,000-115,000 range but is negotiable.
What You Do:
Consult with management on account strategy and work together to implement account plan
Collaborate and coordinate with the Sales team to ensure appropriate decisions are made on behalf of the client
Participate in planning and presentation of account review and post-event reporting
Provide guidance and direction to external clients, internal team and management to ensure client and program goals are accomplished; demonstrate a thorough understanding of how our staffing, services offered, and solutions affect the achievement of the goals and objectives
Manage the implementation and delivery of key clients’ activity, maximizing performance and return on investment, and identifying opportunity to expand
Work with Financial Manager to ensure accuracy of financial documents provided to client and address financial questions on the account including targeted net revenue and margin
Design programs to help existing customers maximize investment
Coach team members
Partner with customer service and operations teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or other related industry
12+ years’ similar experience in event management, with 5+ years in team/event leadership
5+ years of overall client and project management in the experiential event space
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat
Demonstrated success in event management and leadership with a solid understanding of all services provided to develop and produce a successful event
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to solve problems with a creative, flexible, and resourceful approach
Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce and edit effective presentations and business copy
Expert time management and organizational skills with ability to quickly and gracefully adapt to a rapidly-changing environment
Ability to travel up to 25%
