We're looking for a proven, business-oriented Account Director to join our Conway+ team.
As an Account Director, this role is responsible for the effective management and delivery of large, complex projects, ensuring the best creative solutions are achieved in the most efficient, imaginable and profitable way. You must understand how to balance the flexibility required of the agency, alongside the strong organizational skills which our clients expect.
Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate relationships with clients & external audiences
- Recommend and implement initiatives that will improve overall workflow and client services
- Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their requirements
- Define the approach and scope of various real estate and hospitality projects (goals, deliverables, schedule)
- Collaborate with account team and ensure they are exceeding client expectations and growing professionally
- Manage interdisciplinary teams to evolve requirements into clear sets of deliverables
- Present creative work and status to clients and ensure it is being delivered on time and on budget
- Oversee print production estimates, approvals and production logistics when necessary
- Arrange and attend meetings
- Brief design team and offer strategic direction for deliverables such as: brands/logos, ads, websites, e-blasts, exterior signage, etc.
- Manage forecast and financials of accounts to ensure profitability and healthy growth
- Recommend and implement initiatives that will improve overall workflow and client services
- Ensure adequate resources are planned and booked
- Ensure client feedback is captured, delegating and overseeing the team to ensure seamless project delivery
- Manage third party collaborators
Key Characteristics & Requirements
- Proactive and passionate about client care
- Confident and clear written and verbal communicator; ability to communicate with senior level management
- Strong strategic-thinking skills, and the ability to handle and manage stressful situations
- Ability to manage forecast and gauge how to grow the business
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations and produce program outlines for creative brainstorms
- Ability to develop and present new business pitches
- Commercially-minded and a diplomatic negotiator
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various internal divisions and teams
- Highly organized and able to react and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Exceptional eye for detail: words, visuals and numbers
- Passionate about great design with the ability to understand and communicate the process
- Proactive with the ability to work independently
- Able to supervise and motivate the team while offering creative problem-solving
- Bachelor’s degree
- Some travel required
- Minimum of 6-10 years agency (or similar) experience
Preferred, not required:
Real Estate and/or Hospitality marketing experience a plus
Digital experience a bonus
