Account Director
We are seeking an Account Director to work at one of the largest and most awarded ad agency networks in the world. This role will lead integrated advertising campaigns across all channels and platforms, managing a team, and building relationships with mid and senior executives within the client and agency. This will include focusing on the business needs of the client, and articulating agency perspective on recommended solutions. The AD is expected to contribute to innovative ideas in support of the clients’ goals.
Responsibilities:
- Strengthens Client/Agency relationship with proactive and value-added thinking.
- Build strong client relationships, staying close to objectives and client goals.
- Recommends business-building ideas, both for Client’s business and for our own.
- Ability to think strategically, proactively identifying problems and resolutions before they happen.
- Effectively manages internal and external relationships, including partner agencies, with a strong emphasis on media relationships.
- Influence thought leadership throughout the team.
- Collaborates and maintains strong relationships with cross-functional team members to create best in class work.
- Effectively manages internal and external relationships, including partner agencies, with a strong emphasis on media relationships.
- Develops and delivers effective and persuasive POVs.
- Trains, mentors, and supervises junior team members
Required Skills:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience leading and managing a large piece of business in an agency environment.
- Critical and strategic thinker, partnering with our strategist and creative teams.
- Understands how to manage up and down both internally and with clients.
- Exceptional communicator, strong presenter.
- Ability to use data and analytics to identify trends and make observations.
- Stays on top of new technology, trends and media and shares these learnings with internal teams and Clients.
- This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style.
