Academy Senior Analyst

The New York Red Bulls are one of 29 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.

This position requires a dynamic, self-motivated, organized, energetic individual with working experience in analytics at the professional level in Soccer. This position focuses on all aspects of performance analysis for our Academy while working closely with our Head of Performance Analysis.

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for this role.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

VISION

Create and Implement new Standards and Workflows in our Academy related to all aspects of Match Analysis (Video and Data) Run long-term Analysis Projects (Style of Play Projects, etc.)

GAME ANALYSIS

Film and coding Games and Training Sessions as directed (includes traveling with the U18 to Home and Away Games) Prepare Pre-, Live- and Post-Match Analysis for our Academy Teams Assist the Goalkeeper Coach with Pre- and Post-Match Analysis Assist the Coaching Team regarding Match-Plan Development Create in depth video and statistical reports highlighting key objective data on a game by game basis in relation to our Style of Play

SINGLE PLAYER ANALYSIS

Support and create Single Player Meetings (follow Individual Development Plans for each player)

DATABASE MANAGEMENT

Database maintenance and management of all player related performance data, opposition analysis and team analysis

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

• Candidate is required to have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Performance Analyst at the professional level in soccer.
• Extensive knowledge of soccer is required.
• Have an enthusiastic approach to the development of soccer players.
• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience utilizing any performance analysis and telestration software is required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Candidate will be required to work varying schedules including weekends.
• Good understanding of Red Bull playing style
