We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 6th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher to join our team at Yeshiva Middle School. As a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our students, fostering their love for reading, writing, expression, and American History.
Responsibilities
Teach and deliver engaging Language Arts and Social Studies lessons to 6th grade students
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and fosters a love for learning
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
Communicate with parents to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
Requirements
Three years of experience teaching at the middle school level
Excellent instructional and classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Educator certification is a plus but not required
