Normal Park Museum Magnet is a PreK-8 zoned magnet school located in Chattanooga, TN. Normal Park partners with six area museums and other local businesses to enhance each student's learning experience. We believe in teaching the whole child through engaging lessons which foster inquiry and exploration, while also maintaining focus on the emotional and social health of each student. Our students take weekly learning expeditions to our museum partners to build a deeper understanding of standards. Project based learning allows teachers to be creative with their lessons and students to consider ways to solve real world problems. We have a supportive parent community who volunteer at the school, provide additional funds for resources, and additional support for students. We have recently been awarded STEM Designation and our Tennessee Civic Seal.

We look for teachers with an excitement and spark for teaching. We desire candidates who thrive on collaboration and are also willing and confident to share new ideas. As the only prek-8 public school in town, we are able to offer relationships with students over several years and teachers can support students inside and outside the classroom.
