3rd Grade TeacherFT 2024-25 School Year: Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience, preferably in a formal elementary school setting. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills, high energy, experience in preparing and delivering daily lesson plans, experience establishing and communicating clear learning objectives, ability to use various pedagogical methods, and willingness to learn. Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor. They should also be willing and able to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Position available for the 2024-25 school year.

Special education training (in teaching students with specific learning disabilities) is helpful but not required
