Anchor Fabrication has immediate openings for highly motivated Welders with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment.
Job Responsibilities
Knowledge and understanding of weld symbols
MIG / Fillet weld
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to 3G uphill weld
Ability to double V groove weld
Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment.
Uses proper PPE and follows all safety procedures.
Minimum Requirements
1+ years of welding employment experience
Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.
Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
Environment/Physical Requirements
This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:
Must be able to lift 100lbs
Must be able to position weld apparatus in any position the work requires
Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
Physical weld testing on site must be acceptable.
