Job Summary
Gulliver Prep’s Upper School Campus is seeking to hire a Social Sciences Faculty to join its team of professionals for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. Applicants must have extensive knowledge in the field of Psychology and the AP curricula. The position will be responsible for providing instructional aids, supplemental teaching materials, and other resources consistent with learning objectives and student needs, as well as to deliver lessons using a variety of differentiated instructional techniques that are appropriate to the academic level and meet the diverse needs of students. Gulliver faculty are expected to develop and execute effective lesson plans that cover the curriculum, engage students’ interests in the social sciences, and promote higher-order thinking.
Faculty in the Social Science department regularly collaborate with each other. Qualified candidates must also be adept at keeping accurate records of student progress and fostering good working relationships with students, teachers, counselors, administrators and other stakeholders to support the development and well-being of the students and to address any concerns or issues with parents and/or counselors. Finally, incorporating technology in the classroom and embracing 21st century teaching methods as well as willingness to attend ongoing professional development activities that will enhance their teaching methodology is an expectation of all Gulliver faculty.
Minimum Qualifications
Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field.
- Master’s Degree in Education, preferred!
