The two trips involved nine grantees, two staff and provided learning in both Countries around education, social enterprise, alternative/sustainable energies, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and combating Gender Based Violence.

Over a one week period grantees were paired with their respective colleagues at the partner organizations for one-on-one learning and idea exchange. Grantees also worked with experienced trainers in capacity building around the issues of mission focus, programming and planning, and fund development.

Outcomes thus far have included better connections and partnering within their home countries, exposure to new technologies with the potential for replication at home, and stronger focus on systems and process toward more sustainable organizations and successful program outcomes.
