I perform as a professionally-contracted, paid member of the cello section in the orchestra under a union-negotiated Master Agreement. In the past, I have also been an elected member of the Orchestra Musicians'​ Committee and Board Representative, and served as a member of the Negotiations Committee in representing the musicians' interests in negotiating two previous Master Agreements.

One of five founding board members to plan and launch the umbrella nonprofit organization, producing Boulder Startup Week, TEDxBoulder, Ignite Boulder, Boulder Tech Podcast, and Women Inspiring Leadership Development (WILD) Council. As board secretary, I've oversaw the business operations and compliance issues for the organization from day 1 to ensure continued operations as a 501(c)(3).

Launched the Legal Track for the annual Boulder Startup Week in 2016, and joined the BSW Core Team in 2017 as one of four primary organizers of BSW17 to present. Instrumental in the effort to launch Glider, the nonprofit umbrella organization over Boulder Startup Week, among other community events.

The Board of Directors for Community Radio for Northern Colorado is responsible for the management and operation of KUNC-FM and KJAC-FM (The Colorado Sound). I also served as the chair of the Governance Committee for FY2018.

I served a 4-year term on the volunteer LU Alumni Association Board of Directors, with additional duties in the Nominations and Awards Committee. I was also involved in alumni activities to promote Lawrence University and the benefits of liberal arts education.

Professional cellist contracted as principal cellist during the early years of this chamber music "start-up".

I began as a section cello, winning the Principal Cello position in 2001.
 I still occasionally support the group as a substitute musician as needed.
