Selected as part of a group of fifty emerging leaders chosen to experience an intensive education in “Who’s Who and What’s What” in Houston. The program stream engaged multiple components of Houston, such as the economy, urban planning, arts, healthcare, goverment, intermodal transportation and more. The intent is to indoctrinate class participants with the “movers and shakers” influencing each area. In addition to the classroom experience, we ideated and crystallized numerous class projects. This assignment had a two-fold mission: 1. develop in real case scenarios the leadership styles and skills of the class members 2. make a positive impact on the Houston community. Leadership Houston graduates have become city councilman, corporate executives, Federal Reserve chairs, successful entrepreneurs, congresswomen, and other notable achivements. These successes relate to the many ways that the LH experience and their classmates helped them achieve their goals.
