You’re struggling to make your lessons engaging. How can you use curriculum development tools to improve?
In my experience, understanding how your students learn best and how to engage them is critical. Making learning hands-on and fun is also important. Most students enjoy an interactive lesson where they can also participate. Lessons also need to be relatable.

Your contribution is vital to keeping our doors open by covering the gap between our revenues and the actual costs of our operations. With your support, Arch Street offers the following programs:
Community Service: Hundreds of students participate in Arch Street’s community service programs each year, leading us to be recognized by Neighbor to Neighbor as the Student Organization of the Year Award in 2012. This year, Arch Street teen volunteers provided over 1,000 hours of service to the Greenwich community.
Visual and Performing Arts: Arch Street offers teens the opportunity to explore the arts, including cartooning, film and theater, music classes, radio broadcasting, and coffee house nights with acoustical performances.
Health and Fitness: Arch Street’s programming includes classes in yoga, paddle boarding, CPR certification, and hip-hop dance. This year, students also had the opportunity to partake in farm-to-table cooking classes, and we were the proud host of the weekly winter Greenwich Farmers Market. -
