“I had the opportunity to work with Veronica both as one of her direct reports and also as a stakeholder in projects that she managed when she moved into a different role at the company. As a people leader, Veronica blends a fluency for numbers and analytical thinking with an approach that is human centered. People genuinely enjoy working for her, and she is extremely approachable and willing to help her team in any way possible. On the strategic side, she did a great job of setting a high level vision for the future of our department and kept the team motivated throughout a series of pretty significant changes. I joined her leadership team right as the business was increasing resources for our department, and we were scaling up the team to accommodate a greater workload and facilitate a higher level of service for our growing customer base. We subsequently restructured the entire team and rolled out an entirely new dispatching platform over the following year. Veronica played a major role in planning and executing all aspects of the changes. As a project manager/consultant, she is extremely detail oriented, thorough and organized. As previously mentioned, she has a deep understanding of data, and she is able to synthesize it into well thought out and fully realized projects. Her project management abilities are not limited to just a single discipline. I have seen her have success managing multi month projects that required developing and rolling out new software, and I have seen her have success creating detailed training schedules along with all relevant supporting documentation and reference materials for frontline employees. In summary, I think Veronica has an incredible blend of analytical and strategic planning abilities mixed with top notch people management skills. I don’t think it’s a common combination, and I could see her having success in a myriad of different roles. I really enjoyed working for her as a direct report, and I learned a lot from her. On the project management side, my team is still benefiting from projects she managed and delivered. ”
