What are the best ways to answer ERP implementation interview questions?
In my experience, too many candidates focus excessively on the technical aspects of the ERP during an interview. They should devote time to showcase how the ERP project resulted in tangible benefits for the business in terms of savings/ additional revenue or process improvements. They should talk about how they interacted with the business users and took their feedback to improve the solution further.

What are the most effective ways to manage ERP system customization requests from end-users?
A lot has already been said about assessing the impact and value of the customization. However, another way to look at this is that many in IT are not fully aware of the day to day working challenges of the business users. If there is more frequent interaction between IT and business users and then IT is asked to come back with innovative solutions to reduce day to day burden, you would notice that the customization requests go down significantly and there is more trust. Business would be more open to collaborating with IT rather than pushing for frequent customization requests

How can you encourage employee adoption of ERP technology?
While it is good to have an internal focus, one way to ensure faster adoption is to create a budget for employees to participate in technical conferences and user group events. Encourage them to network with employees of other companies who have done an ERP project earlier. Employees should be encouraged to create a 'Trip Report' and publish to a wider audience internally.

End to End Support Model for Parts Division
-
Deploying an IT support model for the Parts Division of a Fortune 100 Manufacturing company. The project included building common standards across diverse teams, root cause analysis of issues cutting across technology platforms and reporting progress across the technology value chain.
The benefits were immediately visible with end users reporting a great degree of improvement in support levels (overall fewer issues, more preventable action and much deeper root cause analysis)…Deploying an IT support model for the Parts Division of a Fortune 100 Manufacturing company. Overall, the support model was optimized with the biggest change being that support teams are viewing issues from a broader user perspective rather than narrow technology focusOther creators

The idea was a social venture - 'Samarth'. The business plan was to set up an institute that leverages technology to design a classroom environment where differently abled students can attend classes together with regular students. The plan was prepared with real world experience with inputs and discussions with various non profit organizations, government agencies and actual students who have faced the situation in the real world.
The plan was highly appreciated by the judges and was singled out as a plan with high potential and positive impact to the society. -
