As one of the most efficient nonprofit organizations in the U.S., 94 cents of every dollar goes directly to our programs and services. All of our services and programs are provided completely free of charge to anyone affected by cancer, including the person diagnosed, their loved ones, young adults and caretakers. Through individual and group counseling, financial assistance, a variety of educational and informational services, to name a few, CancerCare provides help and hope to nearly 200,000 people each year, across the U.S., and always free of charge.

Sid Feiler was the vice principal at Allderdice High School for 30 years. He cared deeply for the students he served and was greatly respected by faculty and parents. Sid and his wife Connie were both born and raised in Squirrel Hill and attended Allderdice. Since his passing in January of 2019, Connie, her family and members of the Allderdice community wanted to establish this scholarship in his memory for graduating seniors of Allderdice High School who are planning on pursuing post-secondary…
