    Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.

    Since my freshman year, Delta Sigma Pi presented this opportunity to either walk or run in Relay For Life. Every year since then, I have been an active participant.

Within this course, we chose a destination where we could relate children and their development to the course. Within this organization, I held weekly meetings every Thursday and twice a month, I held bake sales to raise money to send back to Shepherd's Field Children's Village. At then end of the school year, the club raised a total of $3,000 dollars in donation to the disabled Chinese orphans.
