In addition, Greater MSP supports many important initiatives to strengthen the region, including Make It. MSP. (talent attraction), Forge North (start-ups), and MBOLD (food sector collaboration). I was involved with the strategy that identified a need for this organization, was a founding Board member, and have served two terms as Board Chair (2014-2016, and 2018-present). Founded by John Hope Bryant, Operation HOPE is a nonprofit for-purpose organization working to disrupt poverty and empower inclusion for low and moderate-income youth and adults. U.S Bank has established a partnership with Operation HOPE to provide financial literacy coaches in select locations and provide other services to help address the racial wealth gap. Based in St. Paul, the Ordway hosts major musical, opera, and Broadway performances throughout the year. I am honored to join the Board of this vital organization.

The Y of the North provides a wide range of programs for people throughout the community. I am honored to join the Board.

Modeled after the Robin Hood Foundation in New York and Tipping Point in San Francisco, Constellation uses detailed ROI modeling to evaluate the effectiveness of different non-profit programs, and seek to channel funding to those programs with the highest ROI. I have served as a founding Board member of this organization since it was launched by Andrew Dayton in 2018.

Children's HeartLink provides heart surgeries for children in developing economies by bringing doctors from the U.S. to both perform the surgeries and train the local doctors so they can perform similar surgeries in the future. I chaired the 2017 gala to support this work, raising nearly $1.1 million for the organization.

North Star Scouting serves children throughout our region. I was honored to Chair the dinner honoring my friend, Jay Lund, Chair and CEO of Andersen, as the 2019 Distinguished Citizen. We were also able to raise considerable resources to support the mission of this important organization.

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Youth Frontiers is building a better tomorrow by inspiring students to live lives of character. Each year, Youth Frontiers sponsors an Ethical Leadership Luncheon to raise money for the organziation. I had the privilege of serving as the keynote speaker for their ninth annual event.
