The mission of the Cotton Bowl Athletic Association is to present the most innovative of all college football bowl games and to be the leader in creating premier college sports experiences for universities, student-athletes, sponsors and the community.

2022 - Present: Chair - Planning and Design

Established by the City Charter, the Dallas Park and Recreation Board has oversight of the Dallas Park and Recreation Department. The 15 members of this policy making board are appointed and approved by the Mayor and Dallas City Council.

In May 2024, Dallas residents will consider a $1 Billion Capital Bond Program. If approved by voters, the City issued debt will support key infrastructure projects in five categories: Streets and Transportation, Parks and Trails, Flood Control and Storm Drainage, Critical Facilities (Public Safety, Libraries, Cultural Facilities, and City Facilities), and Economic Development, Housing, and Homeless Solutions.

The purpose of the CBTF is to assist the Dallas City Council in reviewing and selecting projects for consideration on the 2024 Capital Bond Program. The Dallas Sports Commission provides event organizers of sporting events or meetings with a one-stop shop. With just one call, the Dallas Sports Commission Team will assist and facilitate all the necessary steps in planning a fantastic event in Dallas or the surrounding area.

This effort is to update the City's 2011 Dallas Bike Plan. A lot has changed since then. We want to build connected bicycle routes that help you safely get from your home to your work, school, parks, and other destinations. By Summer 2023, the City will have a new bicycle master plan that lays out future bicycle and roadway improvements needed for Dallas.

By creating the first civically-minded organization in Dallas focused on emerging leaders, we are developing a legacy of culturally diverse and connected young professionals who are committed to creating a collective impact approach to moving the needle of progress. With approximately thirty-five members per class between the ages of 25-40, we now have a network of over 150 passionate Dallas residents. Most importantly, what differentiates this organization from others is that our members are committed to decades of supporting and serving this city. Our participants come from eight different areas of cultural and professional influence: Arts & Entertainment, Business, Education, Government, Hospitality & Tourism, Media, Religion, and the Social Sector. In addition, we are proud to represent a diversity of genders, races, religions, and backgrounds.

At the Mayor’s Star Council, our expertise lies in empowering and equipping our young Dallas citizens with the tools to make true transformational change in the city by focusing on our three pillars: Learn, Connect and Serve. We fund each of our events through vendor sponsorships and minimal registration fees. The attendees and vendors we serve primarily sell acquiring related services directly to the retail industry.

The Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA) leads the development of an effective homeless response system that will make the experience of homelessness in Dallas and Collin Counties rare, brief, and non-recurring. MDHA brings together more than 85 shelter, housing and supportive services programs in retooling homeless services into a crisis response system.

Associate Producers is a dynamic group of young professionals interested in learning about musical theatre, networking with peers, and supporting the performing arts. This auxiliary group seeks to make Dallas Summer Musicals a part of Dallas’ culture for young adults. Emerging Leaders (EL) is a competitive leadership development program for up to fifty of SMU’s top first-year students.
