    My team and I took first place in the 2021 Lubar College of Business's M&I Marshall & Ilsley Center Business Ethics Case Competition. The 2021 Case analyzed the ethical responsibility of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) to handle racist and discriminatory slurs that were being chanted at their games.     My team and I took first place in the 2021 Lubar College of Business's M&I Marshall & Ilsley Center Business Ethics Case Competition. The 2021 Case analyzed the ethical responsibility of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) to handle racist and discriminatory slurs that were being chanted at their games. We made recommendations to the LAFC to improve DEI in their business and organizational practices. The Selection Committee felt that our team “demonstrated exemplary analysis and understanding of the foundational elements of business ethics, including an assessment of high degrees of ethical standards, identification of a sense of trust and fairness among the case’s stakeholders, a demand for transparency among stakeholders, a recognition of the rule of law whereby individual desires for personal gain are subordinate to societies’ promulgated rules and regulations, and a focus on long-term value for all stakeholders involved."
