I’m Richard Ward, Certified Financial Planner™, Founder of Success with Purpose.org, and author of Living a Richer Life: Stories of Lasting Impact and Redefining Retirement.

With over 35 years in wealth management and a passion for helping people find their purpose in life, I devote my energy to inspiring my clients, colleagues, and friends to live richer lives. In doing so, they find their purpose and passion by serving others through charitable causes and organizations.

I have a philosophy that philanthropy is not just for the “uber-wealthy,” but there is “philanthropy for all of us.” Each of us has the time, skills, or experience that can be extremely valuable to nonprofit organizations. By giving of ourselves we elevate the nonprofit and, we find our purpose which leads to success.

I have created a Success with Purpose Community and Giving Circle where 100 + friends and colleagues come together quarterly to build awareness for and provide grants to local nonprofits and share their Living a Richer Life experience while celebrating one another’s amazing work in Orange County.

In less than two years, we have granted over $28,000.00 to 11 nonprofit organizations while generating awareness for these amazing causes.

I founded Success with Purpose because a personal objective of mine is to participate in leadership roles wherein my mission combined with my skills, experience, and business efforts are most effectively leveraged to complete the mission of nonprofit organizations and individuals.

I am passionate about supporting many amazing organizations and have enjoyed serving in leadership roles for so many. Organizations I currently serve in a leadership role include OneOC Board of Directors, Passkey’s Foundation Advisory Board Member, Working Wardrobes Council member, The Park Club Board of Directors, and member of Advisors in Philanthropy and Cocktails for a Cause.
