You’ve received some feedback that’s hard to swallow. How can you respond constructively?
We always need to understand where the feedback is coming from... Is it biased or unbiased feedback? Does the other person have something to gain by offering feedback? The tricky part is figuring out if it is true... Someone can offer feedback that is manipulative because of their bias. Others can have your best interest in mind. Know the source but have the humility to understand it might be good feedback regardless of who it came from.
