Generation Citizen (GC) is an innovative, quickly scaling non-profit that seeks to strengthen our nation’s democracy by empowering young people to become engaged and effective citizens.

GC partners college students with classroom teachers to teach an in-school action civics course which mobilizes teens around issues their own communities are facing. GC connects the students with community leaders and policymakers, helping them to effect change. This approach is revolutionizing civics… Show more

We are committed to serving the needs of the Almaden Valley community and those of greater San Jose, through funds raised at our annual Almaden Valley Art & Wine Festival.
