Technology was a large part of this remodel. Previously, the standards for how the company used technology to collaborate was not as standardized as they would have liked it to be. Logic was fortunate to be selected as a long-term partner for Lockton through this project and collaborated closely with Lockton’s IT team to create user-friendly solutions across all floors and meeting spaces.

Their vision was for a state-of-the-art audio and video system that could perform a variety of functions controlled by a single control platform. The large training room and lab are equipped with the Crestron NVX Ecosystem which allows Gemini to send the content from one room to any display connected to the NVX network. This allows, for example, medical procedures to be performed in the lab and for the entire procedure to be seen in the training room or any other room with a screen connected to the NVX Ecosystem, thus allowing for more interactive and immersive trainings and demonstrations of the medical devices. There are also two large conference rooms and eight huddle spaces used for everything from sharing content to conducting video calls. Installed throughout are 4K displays that act as digital messaging boards and can be set to display different messages depending on the day or time of day. The Sonos driven sound system is one of the gems of the project including a zone on the patio used for entertaining with enough power to simulate a concert.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Denver’s very own Frontier Airlines made the move to their new corporate headquarters near Denver International Airport. Coming from modest beginnings and a growing workforce, Frontier needed a space that would accommodate their future growth. Featuring a large 9 screen video wall in the front lobby, to digital signage displays outside of every elevator, a security operations center, and various conference rooms throughout the building, Frontier created a working showcase for their new home.

SOLUTION
Logic Integration designed a 9-panel video wall as the showcase to their new corporate building. The ground floor video wall receives content from a digital signage player located on the 2nd floor, that can be updated from any PC assigned on the client network. A digital signage display also greets employees at their entrance on the back side of the building. The signage displays both greetings, and the café menu. In addition to the employee entrance, digital signs are located outside of each elevator going up to 5 floors. The SOC (Security and Operations Center) features numerous displays for flight management and control. This center required FAA certification prior to occupancy, so Logic Integration developed a design to meet compliance regulations. The remainder of the building consisted of standalone conference rooms and huddle spaces. Each room was designed for both functionality and budget. Logic Integration is many cases was able to re-use equipment from the previous headquarters, in the new space.

The Showroom is a new concept for one of the nation's leading furniture dealers. Their team wanted to create Denver's Ultimate Luxury Home Shopping Experience. A large vaulted atrium welcomes customers into a 170,000 Square foot showroom that features a design center, café, home theater and numerous furniture manufacturers in a state of the art space that is designed to inspire and delight.

Challenge
Create a musical experience that greets you in the parking lot, welcomes you in the Atrium and follows you throughout your experience in all the varied areas of The Showroom. The facility will be used primarily as a retail showroom but also may function as an event center for special occasions. The sheer size of the facility and the lack of true "rooms" brought about numerous challenges for the design team.

Solutions
Logic Integration created a ten zone audio system that could be controlled via a Crestron Control system. The end user is able to walk the entire store and adjust volumes for each zone as well as change the sources for any particular zone. The atrium features JBL main speakers and subwoofers that can support both background music as well as live performances. Most of the showroom feature 160 large white 8" Community pendant speakers were selected for optimum coverage and full range audio frequency response. The speakers needed to blend into the background of the ceiling since most of the primary lighting in the showroom areas is provided by custom lighting designs chosen for each display space. Areas such as the "man cave" required the ability to have a different source selection that might be Nascar coverage of the Furniture Row racing team in action one day, and a catered special event at night. In addition to the background music system a separate home theater system was installed where customers can relax and sample a movie from a variety of furniture offerings and listen to the Sonance surround sound speakers and in wall subwoofer. The facility includes training rooms for mechanics, pilots, and medical staff. The primary training room is one large room which can be sub-divided two different rooms. The client requested the ability to use the room in both the combined and separated mode, and the ability to share sources, content, and sound in both areas. The system consists of Crestron control processors, a BiAmp audio DSP system which handles audio from sources and the wired and wireless microphones, 5500 lumen projectors, and Egan podiums. Each side of the room is controlled with a Crestron screen which controls the systems and the combine and separate modes. Leonard Rice Engineering (LRE) is a consulting firm specializing in highly technical innovative solutions for the management of water and land resources. Logic Integration was asked to design and integrate state of the art technology in the client's classroom, provide a high performing presentation system for the client's conference room, and also integrate a scalable digital signage network.

Challenge

Logic Integration was tasked by Leonard Rice Engineering to solve multiple technology challenges within their historic office space. Within the classroom the primary concerns by the client were the students' obstructed views of the facilitator, the inability of the facilitator to hear students' questions from the back of the classroom, and the need to record classes for an on-demand archived library.

Solution

The Crestron Capture HD was selected by Logic Integration as the best solution for the client to record, playback and archive classroom sessions. Lessons are recorded flawlessly with the combination of the Biamp Nexia digital audio processor and Revolabs wireless tabletop microphones. Additionally, the audio enhancement and reinforcement system integrated by Logic Integration enables the facilitator to easily hear from every student in the classroom. Two screens and two 6,000 lumen projectors were integrated to solve the sight line issues of the students. With multiple sources and displays, a video distribution switcher and a control system was provided to ensure ease of use for the client. Logic Integration selected the Crestron Digital Media switcher and Crestron control system, plus Logic Integration designed a customized user interface for the touchscreen of the control system.

The grand opening for Edge Church was in 2009. Over the past several years the church's membership has expanded to include multiple services with several hundreds of attendees.

Challenge

Great music is a significant part of the worship service for Edge Church, but the interior design finishes posed a few challenges. The concrete floors, high ceilings and hard finished walls created significant audio reverberation issues. In addition, the church wanted the ability to distribute video to a large presentation screen in the sanctuary and share the video with the overflow rooms and additional space throughout the church.

Solution

Logic Integration developed an acoustic treatment design to absorb the audio reflected off of the hard surfaces of the room. Additionally, the company provided a 198" Draper projection screen and 7,000 lumen DPI projector for the sanctuary presentations. A video routing and distribution network controlled via a Crestron touch panel and processor was integrated to give Edge Church the ability to share the Sanctuary presentations and camera feed to the additional rooms.

Logic Integration installs state of the art Crestron Digital Media System at Valley Christian Schools, San Jose, CA. The new 48,000 sq ft building features multiple performance venues, rehearsal halls, practice rooms, teaching studios, music technology lab, recording studio, and black box theatre. AV system was design by Bill Craig and Isaac Moyle.
