I help inspire meaningful philanthropy, one donor at a time.

As a seasoned major and principal gift professional with more than 30 years advising institutional donors in establishing and structuring their charitable gifts, I work as part of my clients' team of advisors, helping them define their charitable objectives and implement plans and structures to achieve those objectives.

I work with not-for-profit organizations to help them maximize philanthropy to achieve their missions. Specifically, I help nonprofit executives and development staff develop and improve their major and planned gift fundraising programs, and I advise boards on supporting fundraising success for their organizations.

I enjoy teaching and mentoring. I provide seminars on a variety of charitable planning topics for professional advisors and their clients as well as not-for-profit organizations and their donors, and I present at conferences and community events. I also write for both professional and personal pursuits, specializing in charitable planning articles, fiction, and personal essays.
