    BCBR https://www.scu.edu/execed/individuals/bcbr/facilitators-mentors/
    WCBR https://www.scu.edu/wcbr/facilitators-mentors-advisors/

    1) For WCBR, I designed the privacy and security curriculum based on hands-on, long term knowledge as CEO of Medigram, where we have a defining focus on privacy and security. I led the design and development of the privacy and cybersecurity training session for current and future board directors in training. I also serve on the program's advisory board.

    2) I advise black corporate board director candidates and female corporate board candidates leveraging my personal experience taking on board responsibilities while also learning from them in the process.

I led the design and delivery of the session: Cyber security & Privacy Priorities & Challenges in the Boardroom Across Company Stages. I designed the framework and structure of the session and recruited and partnered with some of the best executives in healthcare privacy and security to refine areas of detailed focus. I also partnered with the National Association of Corporate Directors, NACD to provide training materials. We delivered a valuable, highly rated session for a diverse cohort of current and future board directors to enable them to help lead in the areas of privacy and security from a board perspective.

As an advisor and facilitator, I was able to audit the following sessions:

*GOVERNANCE IN THE MODERN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

*GOVERNANCE & DISCLOSURES, BOARD ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

*COMMITTEES: COMPENSATION, *NOMINATIONS/GOVERNANCE, AUDIT: LEGAL AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR BOARD SERVICE

    *FINANCE THROUGH THE BOARD LENS

    *APPLIED ETHICS

    *FINANCE FOR VC/PE BOARDS

*INFLUENCE AND NEGOTIATION IN THE BOARDROOM

*ESG TRAINING: ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL, & GOVERNANCE RESPONSIBILITY

    *M&A, TRANSACTIONS, AND SPACs

Unlike other security-based credentialing programs, this certification tests one’s experience in the digital health space. The Certified Digital Health (CDH) Program was launched in 2022 by CHIME. It is designed to reach all eligible healthcare professionals, regardless of position or department, to become certified in digital health. This program offers application and admissions to three levels: Professional (minimal experience), Leader (management, more seasoned), and Executive (senior level positions). This specific certification is for the specialization for security. About CDH h/t Dennis Leber

It is less of a technical exam and more context based. This tests their knowledge, exposure, and competence. We will be using the CDH program and blueprint as our base to build out an information security concentrated examination based on competencies identified in 2008 that underpin the CHCIO certification.

History and purpose of the certification program courtesy of Ashley Jester and David Finn:

The purpose behind the CDH Security certification is to bring out leadership, strategy, and change management (test 67%) and how that interacts with technology and services (test 33%). The CHIME Domain competency areas have stood the test of time. Originally developed in 2008 from the Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) Program, these seven Domain areas were critically assessed and identified to capture the essence of building and identifying true leadership mixed with healthcare IT expertise.

CHIME did substantial foundational research to identify and develop candidate requirements, build a consistent metric that ties to the exam, and a thorough training for the examination build. They worked with a third party service that provided the structure, but ultimately it was CIOs developing the content and metrics for other CIOs. CHIME aims to be the source of truth and credibility while bridging the gap in this digital space. There is no other certification designed like the CDH.

EMBS provides its members with access to the people, practices, information, ideas, and opinions that are shaping one of the fastest-growing fields in science. Our members design the electrical circuits that make a pacemaker run, create the software that reads an MRI, and help develop the wireless technologies that allow patients and doctors to communicate over long distances. They’re interested in bioinformatics, biotechnology, clinical engineering, information technology, instrumentation and measurement, micro and nanotechnology, radiology, and robots. They are researchers and educators, technicians, and clinicians—biomedical engineers are the link between science and life science, creating innovations in healthcare technology for the benefit of all humanity." from the website:https://www.embs.org/about/
