Patents

  • Network Location Determination for Direct Access Networks

    Issued WO2010048031A3

In support of the vision towards deperimeterization and end to end trust, this patent was critical for a client device to determine if it was "inside" a typical corporate network boundary or outside on the Internet. This would then allow the client to dynamically shift it's security stance without any user interaction. As long as the device was connected to the Internet, it was seamlessly connected to the corporate resources and fully managed. This was years before Zero Trust.
