What do you do if your audience seems disinterested during your public speaking?
I won't pretend to have some secret profound knowledge. But, it depends on the situation and the location. When the audience has me on "snooze" few of my favorite tactics are: *Extended pauses to break up any monotony or rhythm I might have fallen into. *Use someone's name—hearing a name immediately snaps the audience back into focus (think...please don't call on me.) *Walk around the room or change locations from where I am standing. And if all else fails, hand out snacks. (Yes, I've done this. Yes, it works.)

How do you manage partner and customer satisfaction?
It starts with building trust and the actions required to do so. This means actually caring about the other person and their priorities, openly communicating, actively listening, and setting clear expectations that everyone agrees on. What's worked for me is keeping my word, following up, telling the truth, and being empathetic to understand what my partners actually need—not what I think they need.
