  • Meal Swipes for Charity

    -

    As a sorority, Lambda Kappa Sigma tabled at the various dining halls throughout campus to raise money for Project HOPE's vaccine initiative. Each dollar donated to Project HOPE equated to $105 in vaccines and medical supplies for children in third world countries. The approximate $7,000 we raised equated to about $735,000 worth of vaccines and medical supplies to children in third world countries.

  • Lupus Awareness (Girl Scout Gold Award)

    I educated West Windsor-Plainsboro district about Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. I held several Lupus Awareness booths at places such as West Windsor Farmer's Marker and Department of Recreation and Community Services of Plainsboro. Also, for the month of August, I set up “Lupus Awareness Month” at the Plainsboro Public Library.
