🔌 The demand for electricity in data centers is on the rise, and with it, the need for natural gas is expected to skyrocket. Stanley Chapman, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Natural Gas Pipelines at TC Energy Corporation—North America's leading operator of natural gas pipelines—highlighted in a recent earnings call that by 2030, the gas demand from electricity generation for data centers could increase by up to 8 billion cubic feet per day.
