What do you do if your Creative Strategy is influenced by biases?
Ask yourself was this bias human-driven or systemic-driven? To address the human elements, rewind back to the origins of the strategy and ask who was involved, which culture did they operate in and was there a HIPPO involved (Highest Paid Person's Opinion)? If it is systemic, then that requires substantial overhaul of fundamentals in a business operation (process, platforms, protocols) and even harder, changes in how your very industry operates.

You're leading a team. What are the best tools to boost their performance?
Listen to each team member's purpose and why they do what they do. Ensure everyone truly listens. Create alignment around the common goal of the team - make everyone feels they are rowing towards the same ultimate outcome even as they live out their respective unique purpose journeys. This balance between common goal and individual sense of making a difference is what great leaders achieve and nurture in their teams. It is what differentiates an average team from a high-performance mighty team.

Know your areas of expertise deeply and express new ideas using an original point of view that is substantiated and memorable. At all times, you must remember you are telling a story -- you need to appeal to both our rational and emotional personas and do so with conviction, passion and relentless optimism.
