  • Homeless Voting Rights in Oregon and New York: A comparative case study

    Beginning in the 1980s, legislation and court cases have made it possible for homeless citizens to exercise their right to vote. Both Oregon and New York are politically progressive, but they approach the question of homeless citizens' voting rights differently. Through a comparative analysis of social and political factors, this theses seeks to explain why Oregon is a national leader in the practical right to vote for homeless citizens.
