“I had the privilege of working with Rachael at Securitas Technology on the Internal Communications team, where she showed incredible adaptability and willingness to jump in and support whatever was needed within our own team and beyond. She partnered with myself and others to build out and evolve the communications function for a fast-paced and complex global business with a thoughtful approach in every interaction. She also served as a communications consultant to business leaders, always developing templates and resources that expanded beyond the initial ask, ultimately making us more effective communication leaders. Rachael is a proactive team player, and truly jack of all trades. ”

BG4Unity Project: Shattering Gender Stereotypes

Our goal was to dispel false notions via boradcasting a video project, outreaching and talking to other students, and breaking stereotypes on various social media platforms.

As a member my service project consisted of mentoring and engaging in creative projects with children who resided in a nearby homeless shelter. However, as a leader, my responsibilities shifted to planning events for the students in this learning community. Along with nine other Chapman leaders, I was responsible for participating in leadership trainings on topics such as conflict resolution, leadership styles, and group dynamics to grow and develop leadership skills, collaborating with team members to led 150+ students in six service events, planning events on campus to create awareness about stereotypes and how they negatively affect society, and promoting events through creative flyers and campus email blasts.
