What are the essential features of a good content marketing platform?
Your content calendar should not be built out with blinders on. It should be an integrated component of a unified omnichannel marketing calendar/plan that includes all initiatives, campaigns, channels, and tactics along with holidays, observances, and seasonal customer insights. In this way planning happens in context of and is centered on the holistic customer experience. For example, content can be planned to support initiatives and campaigns. Email and social media can be planned to promote content. And content can be sequenced to advance the customer journey. If you are looking to build cohesive and compelling omnichannel customer experiences that drive more revenue, you need to smash your silos and plan content in context.
