Humans are able to discard incredible amounts of irrelevant visual information in order to make sense of the world. However, discarding irrelevant visual data is a deceivingly complex task for a computer. Coresearcher Peter Tsai and I applied a post-processing filter to improve the depth perception accuracy of stereo visual output from computer vision algorithms.
