    June 8, 2017 Detroit, Mich. the National Women's Business Ownership Corporation presents DeDominic with their Founders Award. She and Phyllis Hill Slater joined other leaders of the women's entrepreneurship community and NAWBO to help create the first national certification program for women owned businesses in the United States. The Award will be given annual to a leader in business and will hereinafter be known as the Patty DeDominic Leadership Award. NWBOC.org
