“I had the pleasure of working with Noah when I was the director of the web center for UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin. I was seeking a strong manager, able to evolve our department's project management practices, with the technical skills to lead a team of front- and back-end developers, and the vision to help drive our department into the future. At the time, Noah was relocating to Madison, and he was a perfect fit for this role. Noah is a strong manager able to draw the best out of his team, acting as an advocate or a coach depending on the situation. He's a strategic thinker able to see the big picture. Noah is a measured and calm presence. He quickly earned respect from both the web center team and our larger marketing department. He's willing to pitch in on whatever needs to be done and can figure out any new technology with ease. He's innovative and ambitious. In short, Noah rocks. ”

What are common project documentation pitfalls to avoid?
Your project documentation is only as good as your decision tracker. It's great to document what you did and how, who's responsible and who did the implementation, but don't neglect the why. If I had a dime for every time I've been asked, "does anyone remember why we did ___?"... Keeping a clean, detailed decision tracker is the key to unlocking your project documentation for those that will come after you.
